Two people have been confirmed dead, while several others sustained injuries after a commercial mini bus caught fire at Ballet, Mile 2, Lagos, on Tuesday.
The incident was disclosed by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in a video shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
In the post, LASTMA stated:
“Fire incident at Ballet, Mile 2. A yellow mini bus caught fire, resulting in two fatalities, while injured passengers are currently receiving medical attention.”
Emergency responders were said to have attended to the injured victims, while efforts were made to manage traffic and secure the area following the incident.
