Guardiola has recently spoken about addressing his side’s second-half inconsistencies, but there were no such concerns against Fulham as City controlled proceedings from the outset.
Haaland, who had endured a lean spell in front of goal, showed signs of returning to top form with a confident strike to add gloss to the scoreline.
Arsenal now have the opportunity to restore their advantage to six points when they travel to face Brentford on Thursday. However, the Gunners’ once-comfortable nine-point lead has been trimmed to just three in the space of four days, giving City renewed hope of reclaiming the title.
