President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State on Saturday, where he will inaugurate key projects executed by Governor Nasir Idris.
According to a statement released on Friday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will also serve as the special guest of honour at the 61st edition of the annual Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural gatherings, the festival is held along the historic Matan Fada riverside. The site has been recognised by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The visit underscores the federal government’s continued engagement with state governments and its support for cultural heritage and community development initiatives across the country.
