President Bola Tinubu will on Monday undertake an official visit to Adamawa State, where he is scheduled to inaugurate major infrastructure projects and meet with key stakeholders.
The visit was announced in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Projects to Be Commissioned
During the one-day trip, the President will inaugurate several projects in Yola and Jimeta, including the eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road linking Gimba to the state capital.
Other projects slated for commissioning include:
- A model school comprising pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary sections
- A new multipurpose hall
- A remodelled High Court
- A newly constructed officers’ complex
- A renovated Government House
President Tinubu is also expected to hold meetings with top government officials, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders before returning to Abuja.
Follows Kebbi Engagement
The Adamawa visit comes less than 48 hours after the President’s official trip to Kebbi State, where he attended the grand finale of the Argungu International Fishing Festival as Special Guest of Honour.
The cultural festival, recognised by UNESCO as a heritage event, recently returned after a six-year hiatus, drawing national attention and participation.
