Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, today received Miss Etiyemonu Esther, a student of Lagos State Model College, Igbokuta, Imota, who emerged as the Lagos State One-Day Governor after winning the Lagos 21st Spelling Bee Competition in 2025.
She was accompanied by the One-Day Deputy Governor, Miss Awoyemi Dorcas, and the One-Day Secretary to the State Government, Miss Salami Jumai Olaide, alongside their parents.
Governor Sanwo-Olu commended the creator of the One-Day Governor initiative, the First Lady of the Nation, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, for what he described as a lasting legacy that has produced many outstanding One-Day Governors in the state.
