President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for party outreach, engagement, and mobilisation. The appointment takes immediate effect, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Acting as leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Tinubu said the appointment was in recognition of Governor Sani’s “salient leadership and organisational abilities.”
In his new role, Sani will work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative and the party hierarchy, particularly the National Chairman of the APC, to ensure strategic coordination, inclusiveness, and harmony across all levels of party mobilisation and engagement.
The Kaduna governor will also be responsible for promoting and disseminating the party’s programmes, policies, milestones, and achievements to strengthen public confidence and reinforce the Renewed Hope message nationwide.
President Tinubu emphasized that the position is central to deepening citizen engagement and consolidating support for the APC across Nigeria.
