President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Mohammed Umaru Bago, Governor of Niger State, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his courage, diligence, and unwavering commitment to the development of the state.
The President joined the governor’s family, friends, and political associates in celebrating the special milestone, describing it as an opportunity for gratitude, reflection, and renewed dedication to the service of the state, the nation, and its citizens.
President Tinubu acknowledged Governor Bago’s transformative leadership, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, infrastructure, and agricultural development—an effort that has earned him the nickname “farmer governor.”
He noted that the governor’s extensive experience in the banking sector, as well as his tenure as a member of the House of Representatives, has equipped him with the expertise and resilience required to drive meaningful change, reposition the state, and improve the livelihoods of its people.
