The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed shock and sorrow over the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Karamo Yesiro.
Yesiro passed away just 24 hours after his re-election at the Lagos State APC Congress held at Onikan Stadium. He was set to join the newly elected State Executive Council at an inauguration scheduled for Thursday.
In a statement on Wednesday, the party’s spokesperson, Mr. Seye Oladejo, described Yesiro’s death as a tragic loss, noting that he had just been entrusted with serving in the State Executive Council.
“Hon. Karamo Yesiro’s passing came at a time when his energy, dedication, and passion for progressive politics were most needed,” Oladejo said. “His enthusiasm, humility, and readiness to serve left a lasting impression on colleagues and party members.”
The APC extended heartfelt condolences to Yesiro’s family, friends, and political associates, praying for strength for his loved ones and eternal rest for his soul.
“Karamo Yesiro will be remembered for his service, commitment, and belief in the progressive cause,” Oladejo added.
