The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has announced emergency hotline numbers for Nigerians living in or traveling through parts of the Middle East as tensions linked to the Iran–Israel conflict continue to escalate.
In a notice posted on its official X account, the commission urged Nigerians in affected countries to save the emergency contacts and reach out to the nearest Nigerian embassy or mission if they face any danger or urgent situation.
The decision comes amid growing concerns about the broader impact of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has raised fears about the safety of foreign nationals across several Gulf and Levant nations.
NiDCOM explained that the hotlines are intended to provide immediate consular assistance as the security situation in the region continues to develop.
The advisory includes Nigeria’s diplomatic missions in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Tel Aviv, Doha, Beirut, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Amman, each with dedicated emergency contact numbers for Nigerians in need of help.

The commission also advised Nigerians abroad to remain alert, follow local safety guidelines, and maintain close communication with Nigerian embassies and consulates for updates and support.
NiDCOM further emphasized that Nigerians should depend only on official information and take all necessary precautions while the crisis persists.
