Dangote Refinery has announced a significant reduction in fuel prices, lowering petrol and diesel by up to ₦190 per litre, effective March 10, 2026.
According to the latest pricing template:
- Petrol (PMS) at the gantry has been reduced by ₦100, now selling for ₦1,075 per litre, down from ₦1,175 per litre.
- For coastal supply, petrol will be priced at ₦1,050 per litre, reflecting minor adjustments for maritime distribution costs.
- Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) has been cut by ₦190, bringing the price to ₦1,430 per litre, down from ₦1,620 per litre.
The refinery noted that these prices do not include fees from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), which may affect the final pump prices.
This move by Dangote Refinery is expected to ease transportation and logistics costs for businesses and consumers amid rising fuel demand in Nigeria.
