A woman allegedly responsible for opening fire at the luxury Los Angeles home of global superstar Rihanna has been charged with attempted murder.
Prosecutors reported that Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, opened fire at the sprawling estate on Sunday. Aerial footage following the incident revealed bullet holes in the gate of the property, which Rihanna shares with rapper A$AP Rocky and the couple’s three children.
Ortiz, who is from Florida, has a history of involuntary commitment and previously lost custody of her then 10-year-old child, according to entertainment news outlet TMZ.
A Facebook page believed to belong to Ortiz contains multiple posts and videos referencing celebrities including Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Cardi B. One post directly tags Rihanna, challenging her “to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I’m not at.” In another video, Ortiz claimed that Rihanna wants to kill her.
