A man has reportedly been arrested after allegedly shouting “no water, no light” during a visit by Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, to Suleja.
The incident occurred as the governor engaged with residents, with the individual’s outcry drawing attention to concerns over basic amenities such as water and electricity. Security operatives at the scene quickly intervened and took the man into custody.
The development has sparked conversations around freedom of expression, public accountability, and citizens’ grievances over infrastructure challenges in parts of the country.
