Jordan national football team held Nigeria national football team to a 2-2 draw in an international friendly at the Mardan Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
Jordan took an early lead in the 17th minute through Mousa Tamari, but Nigeria responded in the 30th minute when captain Moses Simon found the net after a rebound.
Nigeria completed the turnaround before halftime, with debutant Emmanuel Fernandez finishing off a precise cross from Bright Osayi-Samuel to make it 2-1.
In the second half, coach Eric Chelle made key substitutions, introducing Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi to stabilize the midfield. However, Jordan equalized in the 77th minute to seal the draw.
The match ended on a tense note, with Iwobi receiving a red card in the closing stages.
