Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the pace of development in Ogun State following his visit to Iperu, describing ongoing projects as deliberate, impactful, and built to last.
Highlighting the Gateway Cargo Airport as a symbol of progress, the President emphasized that true development comes from intentional investments that directly improve people’s lives. “Our investment is about our people. Today’s foundation is for tomorrow’s prosperity,” he stated.
Tinubu also praised Dapo Abiodun for his consistency, noting that real growth is driven by results—not rhetoric.
From newly launched aircraft to electric bikes, tractors, and upgraded security assets, the President said Ogun is demonstrating what practical, visible development should look like. He added that the Renewed Hope agenda is enabling states to access more resources and deliver meaningful change.
During the visit, Tinubu also commissioned a major facility of the Nigeria Customs Service, reinforcing efforts to strengthen institutions and enhance economic security.
Reaffirming his administration’s direction, the President concluded: “We are building for people, and we are building for prosperity… The work continues.”
