It is with profound sadness that Bayero University, Kano, announces the passing of Hajiya Hadiza Attahiru Jega, wife of former INEC Chairman and BUK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Attahiru Jega.
The Janazah prayer will take place immediately after Zuhr at the National Mosque, Abuja, on Sunday, 5th April 2026.
BUK prayed: “May Allah grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, forgive her shortcomings, and grant the family strength and patience to bear this loss. Ameen.”
