The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Teaching Hospital has dismissed claims by the Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAHP), Ondo State Council, describing allegations of forced staff transfers, demotions, and intimidation as baseless and misleading.
The hospital, under Chief Medical Director Professor Olusegun Ojo, emphasized that all administrative actions follow established federal teaching hospital protocols. Management reaffirmed its commitment to staff welfare, healthcare excellence, and ongoing reforms aimed at elevating FUTA Teaching Hospital to a leading federal tertiary institution.
The statement urged NUAHP members to suspend planned industrial actions and engage in constructive dialogue, stressing that reforms are transparent and collaborative. “We remain committed to providing uninterrupted, compassionate care while strengthening oversight and institutional efficiency,” it added.
