The Lagos State Government has revealed traffic restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island.
Vehicular movement will be restricted along key routes including King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout, and WaterBoy Roundabout. Link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road, Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will also be closed during the event.
Designated car parks are available to ease parking challenges: Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club, Zone 2 Car Park (opposite Island Club), Museum Kitchen Car Park, and The Bell Car Park.
Motorists are urged to plan ahead and cooperate with LASTMA officers deployed across all diversion points. The state government appreciates public understanding to ensure a smooth carnival experience.
