The United States and Israel carried out an airstrike on the Amir Kabir Petrochemical facility in Mahshahr, southwest Iran, on Tuesday. Iranian authorities reported no casualties from the latest attack.
This follows a previous strike on the site last Saturday, which killed five people, according to local officials.
Valiollah Hayati, deputy governor of Khuzestan province, confirmed the attack via state media, describing the perpetrators as “American and Zionist enemies.” The strike targeted one of the units within the Mahshahr Special Zone, according to the company’s public relations manager.
