On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Lagos State Head of Service, Bode Agoro, officially presented appointment letters to seven newly appointed Permanent Secretaries at his office in the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
The appointments, approved by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, are aimed at strengthening the state’s policy implementation framework and advancing the goals of the THEMES Plus Agenda.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
- Engr. Adeyemi Adetunji Adesanya – Director (Civil), Grade Level 17, Office of Urban Development, Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA)
- Mrs. Durodola Olubukonla Olusola – Director, Administration and Human Resource, Grade Level 17, Public Service Office
- Mrs. Oladeji Oluwatoyin Olubunmi – Director, Administration and Human Resource, Grade Level 17, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development
- Mr. Sorungbe Tiwalade Adeyinka – Grade Level 17, Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology
- Arc. Olukareh Bolanle Monica – Director (Architecture), Grade Level 17, Office of Works
- Dr. Oluwo Adenike Oluwafunmilayo – Chief Medical Officer, Grade Level 17, Ministry of Youth and Social Development
- Dr. Martins Babajide Olumuyiwa – Director (State Counsel), Grade Level 17, Ministry of Justice
In his address, Agoro congratulated the appointees, urging them to uphold professionalism, dedication, and commitment to effective service delivery. He wished them a successful and impactful tenure in their respective roles.
