Arsenal have returned to the top of the Premier League after a narrow 1–0 victory over Newcastle United, thanks to a stunning first-half strike from Eberechi Eze.
The forward’s “thunderbolt” proved decisive at the Emirates Stadium, securing all three points and restoring Arsenal to pole position following Manchester City’s brief spell at the summit.

The result also deepens Newcastle’s struggles, with the Magpies now suffering nine defeats in their last 12 league games, increasing pressure on manager Eddie Howe.
For Arsenal, the win offers renewed momentum ahead of a crucial run-in, with a Champions League semi-final clash against Atlético Madrid coming up next.
