Human rights lawyer and prominent activist Deji Adeyanju has been appointed to the Board of the Katutu Civil Rights Center, an international civil rights organisation headquartered in New York, United States.
The appointment is widely regarded as recognition of Adeyanju’s years of advocacy for democracy, human rights, civil liberties, and social justice in Nigeria and across Africa.
Reacting to the development, Adeyanju expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve on the board and contribute to the organisation’s mission of promoting human rights, civic participation, and justice on a global scale.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening democratic values and protecting vulnerable and marginalised communities.
The Katutu Civil Rights Center is internationally known for its work in human rights advocacy, policy engagement, and support for disadvantaged populations across different parts of the world.
