Samuel Mawuyon Ajose has officially stepped down from the 2027 Lagos State governorship race ahead of the APC primary elections.
Ajose announced his decision in support of Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, endorsing him to emerge as the next Governor of Lagos State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The development comes as political consultations and alignments continue within the ruling party ahead of the APC governorship primaries in Lagos State.
Ajose’s endorsement is expected to strengthen Hamzat’s support base as the race for the party’s ticket gathers momentum.
