The family of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has announced details of his funeral arrangements, with burial activities scheduled to conclude on June 18, 2026.
The actor reportedly passed away on May 11 after battling kidney cancer.
In an obituary statement shared on his Instagram page, the family urged friends, fans, and well-wishers to keep the late actor, his wife, and the entire family in prayers during the mourning period.
According to the funeral programme, a service of songs will hold on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with guests expected to appear in white attire.
The wake keep is scheduled for June 17 at the family residence in Arochukwu, Abia State, while the funeral service and interment will take place on June 18.
The church service will be held at Mary Slessor School, after which the late actor will be laid to rest at the family residence in Arochukwu.
A reception is also expected to follow immediately after the interment.
