Amaechi Rejects ADC Presidential Primary Results, Alleges Rigging

Former Minister of Transportation and ex-Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has rejected the outcome of the ADC presidential primaries, alleging widespread voter disenfranchisement and electoral malpractice.

Amaechi described the results announced by the party as “concocted,” insisting he would only accept an outcome that reflected fairness, transparency, and credibility.

He accused the party leadership of betraying the ideals the ADC claimed to uphold and alleged that a large percentage of party members were denied the opportunity to vote during the exercise.

Amaechi also warned that a party criticising electoral malpractice must not engage in the same actions it condemns.
