President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to elder statesman and retired aviation supervisor at Shell Company Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Ashafa Ajibola Erogbogbo, on the occasion of his 100th birthday anniversary.
The President described attaining the centenary age as a remarkable and rare blessing, reflecting a lifetime of discipline, integrity, dedication, and selfless service to humanity and national development.
President Tinubu praised Alhaji Erogbogbo’s impactful service at the Government Printing Press, Nigeria Customs and Excise, and later at Shell Company Nigeria Limited, where he was known for professionalism, diligence, and commitment to excellence.
He also acknowledged the celebrant’s enduring influence as a respected community leader and mentor in Ikorodu, Lagos State, noting that his wisdom, guidance, and exemplary lifestyle continue to inspire younger generations.
The President further commended the patriarch for remaining mentally alert and warm in spirit at the age of 100, while highlighting his role as the father of Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
President Tinubu joined family members, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the milestone and expressed anticipation for the publication of Alhaji Erogbogbo’s life story titled, “Echoes of Grace: The Journey of a Century.”
He prayed for Almighty Allah to continue to bless the centenarian with good health, peace, strength, and happiness in the years ahead.
