The Lagos State Government has announced the successful completion of the 2025 Holy Land pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan, with about 400 Christian pilgrims from the state participating without any reported incident.
Commissioner for Home Affairs, Olanrewaju Layode, said the pilgrims travelled in two batches and completed the spiritual exercise safely under the coordination of the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board. He noted that the achievement reflects the state’s commitment to efficient pilgrimage management and sets the stage for an even bigger exercise in 2026.
