Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race, citing his age and health.
Kwankwaso made the appeal while receiving members of the Fulani Farmers Association at his Abuja residence.
The former governor urged Atiku, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, to focus on his traditional responsibilities as the Wazirin Adamawa.
The call comes amid ongoing efforts to unite opposition candidates under one platform to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
