Benue State police have confirmed the rescue of six law students kidnapped on July 28, 2025, near the Benue-Taraba boundary. The students were en route to the Nigerian Law School’s Yola campus in Adamawa State when abducted.
In a statement on Friday, Police Public Relations Officer Udeme Edet said the students, traveling from Anambra State, were safely released and reunited with their families on August 1, 2025.
