FG Launches Phase 2 of Creative Economy Development Fund

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy has launched Phase 2 of the Creative Economy Development Fund (CEDF), aimed at expanding funding opportunities across Nigeria’s vibrant creative sector.

This phase targets businesses seeking up to $100,000 in funding and welcomes proposals from diverse industries including film, music, fashion, gaming, animation, literature, tourism, and more.

According to Dr. Nneka Ikem-Anibeze, media aide to the Minister, the fund is designed to boost growth, promote innovation, and support job creation by offering creatives access to finance, skills, and markets.

Building on the success of Phase 1, this next phase prioritizes inclusivity and scalability to drive Nigeria’s creative and cultural renaissance.
