NDLEA arrests Widow for alleged Cocaine trafficking using fake Pregnancy

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested 50-year-old widow and mother, Mrs. Ifeoma Ezewuike, for allegedly trafficking 1.3 kilograms of cocaine. She reportedly used a fake pregnancy to avoid suspicion.

Mrs. Ezewuike, who owns Golden Star Creation, a fashion business in Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, was caught on August 22, 2025, at a bus terminal in Jibowu, Yaba, while attempting to transport the drugs to Abuja.

A follow-up raid at her home recovered 200 grams of a cutting agent used in cocaine production.
