The Federal Government has completed a major review of curricula for basic, senior secondary, and technical education to make Nigerian students “future-ready.”
According to a statement by the Ministry of Education’s Director of Press, Boriowo Folasade, the new framework was announced by Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, on behalf of Education Minister Dr. Maruf Alausa.
The curriculum overhaul—done in collaboration with NERDC, UBEC, NSSEC, and NBTE—aims to reduce content overload, improve learning outcomes, and equip students with globally relevant skills.
