The Rivers State House of Assembly has set 10 a.m. on Thursday for its first plenary session following the end of the emergency rule.
The sitting comes after President Bola Tinubu lifted the emergency rule on Wednesday, marking the return to democratic governance in the state.
According to our correspondent, the session will be chaired by Speaker Martin Amaewhule and held at the Conference Hall of the Legislative Quarters on Aba Road, where the lawmakers are currently meeting temporarily.
