The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has presented its governorship nomination form to Alhaji Ibrahim ElAmin, popularly known as Ibrahim Little, as the party steps up preparations for the 2027 general elections in Kano State.
Ibrahim ElAmin, a former governorship candidate of the defunct All People’s Party (APP), confirmed the development in a statement shared on his verified Facebook page on Monday.
According to him, he received the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Governorship Nomination Form (EC-13B) from the Acting Chairman of the ADC in Kano State, Dr. Umar Bala Kwalwa.
“By the grace of Allah, I have received the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Governorship Nomination Form (EC-13B) from the Acting Chairman of the African Democratic Congress in Kano State, Dr. Umar Bala Kwalwa,” ElAmin stated.
He expressed appreciation to the party leadership for the opportunity and prayed for a successful political journey.
“We pray to Allah to bless this milestone and make it a success,” he added.
The presentation of the nomination form marks another step in the ADC’s preparations for the 2027 governorship election in Kano, coming weeks after the party dissolved its Kano State Executive Committee and inaugurated a caretaker committee to address internal challenges and strengthen its structure ahead of the polls.
The move is expected to bolster the party’s readiness as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
