Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, has urged residents to take greater responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment across the State.
Agoro made the call while monitoring the September Environmental Sanitation Exercise in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
He stressed that environmental cleanliness is a collective responsibility, urging residents to adopt proper sanitation practices and dispose of waste appropriately rather than leaving the responsibility solely to government.
Agoro also reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to promoting environmental best practices through sustained public enlightenment, advocacy and increased community participation.
