Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of one commissioner, three special advisers and 1,000 aides as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across the state.
The appointments include 90 Senior Special Assistants and 910 Special Assistants.
Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government Area was nominated as Commissioner for Special Duties, with her nomination forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The three newly appointed Special Advisers are Abimbola Fajolu for Environment, Ade Adeniyi for Rural and Community Development, and Muyiwa Ogunyemi for Transport.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the appointments take immediate effect, while the full list of the Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants will be released later.
