The Free Summer Coaching Program organized by the Education & Library Services Department under the leadership of Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, Chairman, Alimosho Local Government, Akowonjo, is a community-focused educational intervention designed to support young learners during the school vacation.
Designed specifically for Primary 2 to Primary 6 pupils to reinforce academic foundations, prevent learning loss over the long break, and prepare students for the upcoming academic session.
By offering this coaching 100% tuition-free, the local government relieves financial strain on parents while providing pupils with a structured and productive learning environment during the holidays.
This initiative serves as a proactive, equitable investment in local youth development—combining accessible academic coaching with a safe, structured morning schedule to keep young children engaged constructively throughout the August-September break.
