Apapa Local Government has commissioned newly constructed roads and handed over transformers to communities across the council area as part of efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance residents’ quality of life.
The projects are designed to improve road connectivity, ease movement and address key infrastructural needs within various communities. The newly completed roads are expected to provide safer and more accessible routes for residents, commuters and businesses operating in the area.
The transformers, meanwhile, are expected to strengthen electricity supply and improve power distribution to beneficiary communities. The intervention is aimed at supporting households, businesses and other activities that depend on a more reliable power supply.
The council said the projects reflect its commitment to delivering people-oriented infrastructure that addresses critical needs, stimulates economic activities and promotes sustainable development across Apapa.
