Troops of the Nigerian Army’s Joint Task Force South East, Operation UDO KA, have rescued three kidnapped victims and dismantled a suspected terrorist camp during operations in Anambra State.
The operation, conducted with the Anambra Vigilante Group, also led to the arrest of a suspected kidnapper and the recovery of firearms, ammunition and other materials from the camp.
The Army said the operation followed intelligence gathered after the victims were abducted in Ihiala, while follow-up operations are ongoing to apprehend fleeing suspects and other alleged collaborators.
