Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has held a Governance Forum to engage residents and stakeholders on the administration’s performance over the past year, highlighting projects and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
At the forum, the Executive Chairman, Bukola Adedeji, presented the administration’s one-year scorecard, outlining achievements recorded across key sectors.
The council showcased milestones in infrastructure development, environmental sanitation, drainage rehabilitation, road construction and rehabilitation, youth empowerment, education support, healthcare interventions and social welfare programmes.
Adedeji reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability and people-centred governance, stressing that residents’ participation remains vital to the council’s continued development.
He also encouraged citizens to sustain their support through active civic engagement and constructive feedback to enhance service delivery and community development.
