Containerized Vehicle Catches Fire on Ojota Bridge, Emergency Responders on Scene

Lagos, Nigeria – A containerized vehicle has caught fire on top of the Ojota Bridge near the Old Toll Gate, prompting a swift emergency response from relevant authorities.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have been notified and are currently on ground managing the situation. Firefighters are actively working to extinguish the flames, while the LASTMA Rescue and Recovery Team has been deployed for vehicle removal and traffic control.

A high-capacity tow truck is also on site to facilitate the safe removal of the affected vehicle once the fire is fully contained.
