The Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to hold the signing ceremony for its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Monday, September 7, 2026, in Lagos.
The refinery plans to offer 4.1 billion ordinary shares at ₦525 each, with the offer expected to raise approximately ₦2.15 trillion ($1.6 billion) if fully subscribed.
The ceremony will take place at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, with Dangote Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Aliko Dangote, expected to lead the event.
The IPO marks the refinery’s first public offer since its inauguration in 2023. Located in the Lekki Free Zone, the facility has a refining capacity of 650,000 barrels per day and is Africa’s largest single-train refinery.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the offering, while the company is expected to list on the Nigerian Exchange on September 14, 2026.
