Nigeria’s D’Tigress have bounced back from two successive defeats to China with an impressive 88-77 victory over the hosts in their final exhibition game in Foshan, Guangdong Province.
The reigning African champions dominated from the opening quarter, taking a 32-17 lead before extending the advantage to 58-29 at halftime.
China mounted a comeback after the break, but D’Tigress held their ground to secure an 11-point victory and end the three-game series on a winning note.
The win avenged Nigeria’s earlier 69-65 and 70-67 defeats to China in the series.
D’Tigress will now continue their preparations for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup with their next phase of warm-up games in Spain.
