Victor Osimhen’s future remains one of the biggest talking points of the summer transfer window, with reports claiming a European club is prepared to table a €120 million bid for the Super Eagles striker.
According to Turkish transfer expert Burhan Can Terzi, the unnamed club has informed Galatasaray of its willingness to meet the €120 million valuation. However, the Turkish champions are reportedly unwilling to open negotiations, making it clear they want to keep their star forward.
Osimhen enjoyed a sensational campaign, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances to help Galatasaray successfully defend the Turkish Super Lig title. His performances have attracted interest from several European heavyweights, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid.
Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has also reportedly reaffirmed the club’s stance. Turkish football pundit Nevzat Dindar said the club has no intention of selling the Nigerian international and would only consider offers starting from €150 million if Osimhen decides he wants to leave.
With Europe’s top clubs monitoring the 27-year-old, the race for one of the continent’s most prolific strikers is expected to intensify as the transfer window unfolds.
