The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has approved the distribution of ₦2.549 trillion to the Federal Government, state governments and local government councils for June 2026.
FAAC Director of Press and Public Relations, Bawa Mokwa, disclosed that the allocation was approved during the committee’s July 2026 meeting held in Abuja.
According to the communiqué issued after the meeting, the distributable revenue consisted of ₦1.809 trillion from statutory revenue and ₦740.724 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT).
The committee further stated that the total gross revenue available for June stood at ₦4.500 trillion. From this amount, ₦160.744 billion was deducted as the cost of collection, while ₦1.789 trillion was earmarked for transfers, interventions and refunds.
FAAC noted that the approved allocation reflects revenue generated from key national sources and forms part of the monthly statutory disbursement to the three tiers of government.
