The Federal Government has launched the “Hire From Nigeria” campaign, an initiative aimed at connecting Nigerian youths with international employment opportunities without requiring them to leave the country.
Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, announced the initiative at its official launch, where he emphasised the need to strengthen the connection between Nigeria’s education and skills development system and the evolving demands of the global labour market.

Alausa said the campaign was designed to leverage Nigeria’s youthful population by equipping young Nigerians with relevant skills and creating opportunities for them to work for international employers remotely from within the country. He described the initiative as a practical expression of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The minister stressed that Nigeria must increasingly position its young population as a competitive workforce in the global economy. He added that stronger investment in skills development, education and employability would help Nigerian youths access international opportunities while contributing to economic growth at home.
