The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to support the country’s representative at the Miss World competition, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, popularly known as Soye, as voting enters its final hours at the ongoing 73rd Miss World Festival in Vietnam.
The Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, made the appeal on Friday, September 4, praising Soye for representing Nigeria on the international stage with “grace, confidence and purpose.”
Musawa described Soye’s emergence as Africa’s Top Model and her qualification for the Top 40 of the Miss World competition as a significant achievement for Nigeria.
