FIFA has unveiled the complete match schedule for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil, with all 64 matches set to be played across eight host cities.
The tournament will kick off on June 24, 2027, with hosts Brazil opening the competition at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Other host cities include São Paulo, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador, Belo Horizonte and Fortaleza. Each city will host at least seven matches, including knockout-stage fixtures.
The Maracanã will stage the final, while São Paulo will host one semi-final and the bronze-medal match. The second semi-final will also be played in Rio de Janeiro.
FIFA said the schedule was designed with sporting fairness in mind, taking into account travel distances, recovery periods and the overall experience of the 32 participating teams.
The 2027 tournament will also see the Maracanã become only the third stadium in history to host both a men’s and women’s FIFA World Cup final.
FIFA said the schedule will be updated following the final tournament draw, expected later this year.
