The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of veteran Nigerian Actor, Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
In a condolence message on his instagram page, the Governor extended heartfelt sympathies to the late actor’s family, Friends, Colleagues and Fans, describing his death as a painful loss to Nigeria’s creative industry.
The Governor said Ogogo was a gifted actor whose talent entertained millions of Nigerians while using storytelling to reflect important aspects of society.
According to the Governor, the veteran actor’s remarkable career earned him widespread love and respect across the country, leaving behind a legacy that will remain significant in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
The Governor prayed that Almighty God grants Ogogo eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus and gives his family, friends and colleagues the strength to bear the loss.
He also prayed that the memory and contributions of the late actor would continue to live on among Nigerians and within the creative industry.
