Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the opening of West Africa’s first multi-technology industrial additive manufacturing facility in Lagos, describing it as a significant milestone for industrial development and innovation in the region.
The facility, established by Arridex, is expected to boost local manufacturing by producing industrial components and spare parts within Lagos, thereby reducing reliance on imports, strengthening key industries, and supporting economic growth.
Governor Sanwo-Olu commended the Arridex team for its vision and commitment to developing solutions that will benefit not only Nigeria but also the wider African continent.
He reiterated the Lagos State Government’s commitment to supporting investments that create opportunities, expand local capacity, and position Lagos as a leading hub for innovation, technology, and industrial development.
