Lagos State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has held a consultative meeting with the leadership of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, led by its National President, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, SAN.
Hamzat said the engagement was part of his consultations with community and religious leaders on issues affecting Lagos residents. He described dialogue with stakeholders as important to understanding concerns within communities and identifying practical approaches to development.
According to the Deputy Governor, discussions centred on a shared vision for Lagos and ways of working with community leaders to address issues affecting the people.
Hamzat said he remained open to advice and perspectives from stakeholders, adding that their guidance would continue to inform efforts toward addressing challenges and sustaining development across the state.
The meeting is part of a series of engagements Hamzat has held with religious, community and traditional leaders in recent weeks. Recent consultations have included meetings with Muslim organisations and traditional rulers across Lagos.
